Last week I was trying to pick a movie on Instant for me and my boyfriend to watch. I wanted Little Shop of Horrors, but they had the original. I thought the Rick Moranis was the original. I tried Circle of Friends…DVD only. Then I saw Howard the Duck and decided that was it! I went downstairs and came back up and was ready to hit play. He asked me if I was serious. I was singing the song in my head…I was serious. I could see the look on his face so we didn’t watch it. The next option was Muriel’s Wedding or Dirty Dancing. He picked Dirty Dancing. I’ve seen that movie so many times, but watching it with someone who has never seen it is a little cringe worthy. The movies of my childhood that I love are not oscar films. She’s Like the Wind is not winning song of the year. Howie Mandel is not going to be nominated for best actor for Little Monsters. I love them anyway.
Curly Sue is 30. I’m right behind you girl.
The article says Porter, now 30, and friend of 13 years Brian Autenrieth got married on Saturday in Diablo Dormido ranch in the Santa Monica mountains.
A friend? She married her friend of 13 years? Her (boy)friend of 13 years…?
Is Defending Your Life one of the best or one of the worst movies? When I think of this movie, I think if them eating.
Started watching Glitter and I was wondering why Max Beesley (Dice) never took off in the US. He is basically a Wahlberg…maybe not Mark, but Donnie-esque.
And Padma Lakshmi……………
ENCORE plays every movie from the 90’s that I loved as a kid.

Oh and we saw The Artist on Friday and WOW! Seriously, I knew nothing about this movie and when I realized what kind of movie it was going to be (in the first five minutes) I was a little worried. How was I going to watch an hour and forty minutes? It was so so amazing. See it if you can.
