I’m not sure if that bag was supposed to go around your waist, but I made it happen. Fanny packs were still around I think.

There was a little boy, maybe 6, who I would see at Starbucks with his dad. While his dad was in line, he would sit on the stool facing Olympic playing with his toy truck. ”Quiet Lexus. Loud Rav 4,” he said. I shuffled along in the line, a little closer to him. ”Quiet Prius. Loud Ford,” he said. I looked out the window toward the street and saw a Prius and a Ford driving through the intersection. My first thought is that the kid really knows his cars. I wish the line wasn’t moving so fast so I could see how many cars he could accurately name in addition to their noise level. (I found this draft from last March in my email. I haven’t seen him since. He could be working for NASA for all I know.)

Mondays are me trying to do a pull up on to this beam and by Tuesday I have managed to hoist myself up face down on my stomach. Then around Thursday my right leg is dangling off and then my arm slips and then it’s Friday around 4pm and I’m barely hanging on by my finger tips. DOES THIS MAKE SENSE?
